classical literature for fandom purposes
Guides to ancient texts, designed for non-specialist fandom writers and artists interested in producing works of classical reception. Originally published on the Archive of Our Own.
prequel problems
An exploration of how various texts negotiate the weirdness that is the temporality of a prequel.
reading (modern) classics
I study Latin literature, so for me "modern classics" includes anything since about 1500. I'm starting with a selection of English-language novels, and I'll work out from there.
blaugust 2024
A challenge hosted by Bel at Tales of the Aggronaut, with the premise being something like "attempt to post a thing a day in the month of August".
get weird with it
I'm trying to be braver about making fun translation choices while also studying for my language exams, so I'm practicing on randomly selected passages from a variety of Greek and Latin texts.
translations
Greek and Latin things translated by me (usually chosen by the random passage generator)
web design
Things relating to site design and coding. Primarily CSS styles, but also structural elements based off my site framework.
